and public art in Fremont, including the "Interurban Sculpture," "The
Fremont Troll," "Lenin," "The Garden of Everyday Miracles,"
etc. 1979

Responsibilities
include fundraising, ensemble coordination, float assembly, and teaching mask

Compose and perform music for the event, and teach mask-making classes. 1991

Sunday Market / Assistant Manager.
Responsibilities included set-up, traffic control, vendor assistance, and
fee collections. 1994

Art Walk / Founding Member.
Responsibilities included soliciting members and guiding lecture tours of
public art. 1995
Art Access Magazine / Writer.
Wrote an article on the history of art in Fremont. 1997
to Present Flying
Dreams Collective / Founding Member.
A performance group that writes, exhibits and parades their artwork. Activity
has included three cultural exchange visits to Taiwan thus far. Oktoberfest
/ Event Staff.
Responsibilities have included supervising Kids Craft area, teaching pumpkin
carving and mask making to benefit B. F. Day Elementary. History
House Museum of Greater Seattle / Serves on the Board of Directors. Roger
Wheeler
is currently residing at the Toshiro-Kaplan Artist Lofts, where he is a working/teaching
artist. His work is currently represented by ArtFX Gallery in Seattle and The
Art and Soul Gallery in Bothell, as well as in art shows and venues throughout
the Seattle metropolitan area.
